SNORKELLING & DIVING TO MENJANGAN ISLAND
Just off the NW coast of Bali lies the tiny island of Palau Menjangan (Deer Island), an uninhabited island situated within the protected marine reserve of Bali Barat National Park. The waters surrounding the island are home to one of the most pristine marine biosystems in the world, filled with spectacular coral and reef fish.
The professional staff at Karang Divers Amertha will organize all the requisite permits to enter the marine reserve. On the day of your Menjangan adventure, you will leave from the Amertha beachfront on the Karang Dive boat with one of our certified Dive Instructors, who will assess the conditions and determine which of the 10 dive spots around the island will provide the best view of this remarkable habitat.
The waters surrounding Menjangan Island are home to some 45 species of coral, 32 species of fish and 9 species of sea mollusk – all yours for the viewing in full tropical color.
